Happy Easter!

PREGO

Found out yesterday that Rachel my little sis is PREGO and yes just like the pasta sauce "it's in there" we all saw the ultrasound! Seems kind of weird for her to be pregnant but then again I'm sure everyone thought that about me. We are all excited about the new niece/nephew and cousin and we are wishing them the BIGGEST CONGRATS!

City Chicks update 1

Sad new for this update we lost one chick, Caleb and Ella left the door of the cage open and we had one very adventurous chick that got out and I guess went through the fence and Jack got it. It was a lesson in death for Caleb and Ella, we buried it near the cage...a sad day but Caleb will not forget to close the gate. The other chicks however are doing great and getting big quick.

When Mother Nature has mood swings

Last Saturday was warm and sunny in fact we ate outside and it was in the 70's today however we woke up to a wintry wonderland! Over night it had snowed and everything had gotten a good dusting.

This time the kids were not so quick to run outside to play they remembered it is cold, wet and oh yes COLD! It is always so pretty to wake up to perfect untouched snow, not a sight we see to often.

And although I like it I really hope this is the last snow of the year...my soul longs for Spring!

What is a Princess

A princess is always dressed for the occasion...a day at the park requires a matching hat and purse
She is always ready to smile for the camera!

Of course a princess has a beautiful gown in which to twirl.

City Chicks

We have an addition to the Loudon family, well actually 6..... little chicks! After many years of wanting and one failed attempt Dan has finally gotten his chickens...well chicks we'll see if we end up with 6 chickens.
After talking about it for the past few weeks I was glad to finally get them so I could stop hearing the question from Caleb "mom are we getting the chicks today?"

It was big excitement to drive out to the "country" to find a feed store that sells chicks. If you are in the market I will let you know from Birmingham you head out to Wilsonville.
