“God is not a belief to which you give your assent. God becomes a reality whom you know intimately, meet everyday, one whose strength becomes your strength, whose love, your love. Live this life of the presence of God long enough and when someone asks you, “Do you believe there is a God?” you may find yourself answering, “No, I do not believe there is a God. I know there is a God.”~Ernest Boyer, Jr.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your might.~Deuteronomy 6:5

Spring Break

Spring Break 2009 has come and gone for us, I can't believe it is already over. We so looked forward to it and going to Grammy's and now it is just a memory. What is even more scary once spring break is over it is only a short time until school is out for the year. I find that scary not because I will have both kids home all day, but it means that Caleb will be a Second Grader and Ella will be starting school...my kids are growing up and way to fast.

Spring Break was fun we hung out at Grammy and Pop's house and just had a good time. Ella learned about life on the farm and helped Grammy with chores like hanging out laundry...she loved it!

We spent an afternoon with Aunt Mary playing in the park, Caleb and Ella will both tell you they met some "mean kids" that threatened to get their BB guns and shoot their eyes out...and people say we live in the bad part of town. The kids did comfort themselves however in the fact that they got spanked on the way out of the park, not for the BB gun comment mom totally missed that one she was on the phone.

We even went to the beach for the day. We drove down to St George Island and let the kids put their feet in the water, well it was supposed to be just their feet but Caleb accidental sat down. The water was freezing, I don't know how they even played in it I guess you have to be a kid

In the words of Dr Seuss "today is gone today was fun, tomorrow is another one" Today is gone but I look forward to many tomorrows and Spring breaks with Caleb and Ella
