“God is not a belief to which you give your assent. God becomes a reality whom you know intimately, meet everyday, one whose strength becomes your strength, whose love, your love. Live this life of the presence of God long enough and when someone asks you, “Do you believe there is a God?” you may find yourself answering, “No, I do not believe there is a God. I know there is a God.”~Ernest Boyer, Jr.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your might.~Deuteronomy 6:5

Tales from the Coop

Well our baby chicks are gone and each day they look more and more like chickens
Chicken life is good a whole lot of scratching and pecking, although every night there is trouble in the hen house. Dan put up a roost for them and they do love spending the evenings there but as they are getting bigger the roost is not big enough to hold 5. So 4 get up and get comfy and #5 not wating to be left out jumps up and scoots and pushes the others until she is in a half sitting position. Then they all start pushing each other until finally one falls down and it starts all over again. In the chicken world they would call it "Top Hen" it really is quite entertaining.
